Q1 2026 Report — published on the BVB

2Performant published the Q1 2026 report on May 26. It includes the commercial adjustment for BusinessLeague, effective July 1.

Q1 confirms the return to growth and operational discipline:

• Revenue: 12.7 million lei, +14% YoY

• Operating income: +15%

• Operating expenses: −30%

• Operating result: from −2.13 million lei to −136,846 lei

In BusinessLeague specifically: 563,472 validated sales in Q1, +12% YoY. The clicks → sales conversion rate climbed from 3.16% to 3.64%.

A sign that the ecosystem is becoming more productive, not just bigger.

GSMnet — from 1,100 to nearly 2,500 sales in two months

Vladimir Rusu, Marketing Manager at GSMnet, tells the story of what happens when a brand with 19 years in IT&C starts treating affiliate as a serious channel, not an experiment.

The numbers speak for themselves. February — ~1,100 sales. April — nearly 2,500. For GSMnet, affiliate doesn’t replace the other channels, it complements them — it brings new communities, new customers, reactivated customers. And, the part that matters most for any e-shop, payment happens only for sales actually made.

Commercial adjustments from July 1, 2026

We kept it for last because it deserves the space. From July 1 we’re changing three things in BusinessLeague:

We move from 24 to 47 categories, aligned with the Google taxonomy. We adjust the network commission to match each category’s reality and we set a uniform monthly subscription at €99 + VAT. We apply tenure and performance discounts.

The most important part, beyond the numbers: whether the commission goes up or down for a shop, the difference goes to Affiliates — 100% in Q3 2026 and 50% in Q4 2026.

The logic is simple. More motivation for Affiliates, more sales for Merchants, a more productive ecosystem for everyone.

Gabriel Bonciu: High-intent Search traffic is becoming relatively stronger again

Gabriel Bonciu, Bizdev Director at 2Performant, published an article on BusinessLeague Chronicles about a trend from the last ~8 months: CSS / Google Search / PPC affiliates are converting better.

The data from the first 4 months of the year:

▸ 739 eShops, 743,990 orders
▸ orders +9.5% YoY
▸ clicks 20.4M, -1.8% YoY
▸ average conversion rate 3.64%, +11.5% YoY

In short: more sales from roughly the same traffic. Likely causes — more sophisticated CSS and PPC partners, optimisation across multiple product feeds, better ML for bidding, plus the fact that affiliates operating with their own capital optimize differently than agencies. All conditional on strong fundamentals at the eShop: price, feed, UX, operations.

Andrei Rotaru: bulk processing is not a script. It is a product feature.

On 2Performant Tech, Andrei Rotaru published “From manual ops to safe bulk processing: designing a bulk request pipeline that scales”.

The context: actions like accepting commissions or editing monetary values need to be applied across many records. Manually that works for a handful of cases. At volume it breaks — inconsistencies, errors, no auditability.

The team’s solution: bulk processing as a complete flow — CSV templates, strict validation on upload, a Bulk Process Request as a first-class object with its own lifecycle, asynchronous batch processing, deduplication, partial success with a downloadable error CSV, visible UI progress.

The principle: in bulk operations, failures are not exceptions, they are part of the flow. The system processes what it can, explains what failed, returns an artifact the user can act on.
