What's changing in BusinessLeague from July 1
47 new categories, a uniform subscription, more money to Affiliates. Plus two webinars and the Q1 report.
What’s changing in BusinessLeague from July 1
Starting July 1, we’re changing how BusinessLeague works — commissions, categories, subscriptions. It’s the biggest commercial change since the rebrand. We get to the details at the end.
First: this week’s webinars, the Q1 2026 report on the BVB, the GSMnet case, two community events, a useful tech article and 13 new shops in the platform.
Here we go.
Two webinars for e-shops
June 10 · theMarketer & BusinessLeague — The Growth Loop
Wednesday, June 10, from 11:00. With our friends at theMarketer we look at a simple question: how do you grow without also growing your financial risk?
Not a single campaign — a complete loop. Performance-based acquisition through BusinessLeague, retention through theMarketer’s automations. Bring customers in more efficiently, activate them better, keep them longer.
June 3 · MerchantPro & BusinessLeague — pay only for validated sales
Tuesday, June 3, from 16:00. With MerchantPro we discuss what makes affiliate different from Google Ads, Meta Ads or marketplaces. Costs, commissions, validations, brand control — no marketing fluff.
The core idea: BusinessLeague is not a classic ad channel and it’s not a marketplace either. It’s an ecosystem where relevant partners promote your shop, and you pay only for validated sales.
Q1 2026 Report — published on the BVB
2Performant published the Q1 2026 report on May 26. It includes the commercial adjustment for BusinessLeague, effective July 1.
Q1 confirms the return to growth and operational discipline:
Revenue: 12.7 million lei, +14% YoY
Operating income: +15%
Operating expenses: −30%
Operating result: from −2.13 million lei to −136,846 lei
In BusinessLeague specifically: 563,472 validated sales in Q1, +12% YoY. The clicks → sales conversion rate climbed from 3.16% to 3.64%.
A sign that the ecosystem is becoming more productive, not just bigger.
GSMnet — from 1,100 to nearly 2,500 sales in two months
Vladimir Rusu, Marketing Manager at GSMnet, tells the story of what happens when a brand with 19 years in IT&C starts treating affiliate as a serious channel, not an experiment.
The numbers speak for themselves. February — ~1,100 sales. April — nearly 2,500. For GSMnet, affiliate doesn’t replace the other channels, it complements them — it brings new communities, new customers, reactivated customers. And, the part that matters most for any e-shop, payment happens only for sales actually made.
Asked to describe BusinessLeague in a single word, Vladimir picks one: performance.
Today · Shopify Meetup — BusinessLeague panel from 14:00
We’re at Shopify Meetup today, in a conversation about e-commerce, technology and healthier growth channels. BusinessLeague joins the panel from 14:00 with the same idea we test daily: marketing becomes sustainable when payment is tied to results, not promises.
13 new shops in BusinessLeague
More verticals, more opportunities for Affiliates, more competition for validated sales.
For existing Merchants — every new program raises the bar. For Affiliates — every new program is a chance to find the right combination of product, audience and channel.

For tech teams — From Capistrano to Kamal
On 2Performant Tech, Radu Rotaru writes about moving Rails deploys from Capistrano to Kamal. From deploys based on servers, SSH and machine-specific setup, to a model based on images — more predictable, easier to control.
Useful for tech teams that want safer deploys, clearer rollback and a clean separation between build and runtime.
June 11 · AeRO Growth Companies — first edition, with Ana Opriță
Thursday, June 11, 18:00–21:00, at Hotspot Skyhub in Orhideea Towers. The first edition of AeRO Growth Companies — a meet-up for entrepreneurial companies listed on the AeRO market.
Ana Opriță, Deputy CEO 2Performant, joins the panel alongside Dan Petrișor (CEO Meta Estate Trust) and Cosmin Mălureanu (CEO Ascendia). The format is built for direct dialogue — numbers, strategy, questions relevant to retail investors, brokers and asset managers.

Commercial adjustments from July 1, 2026
We kept it for last because it deserves the space. From July 1 we’re changing three things in BusinessLeague:
We move from 24 to 47 categories, aligned with the Google taxonomy. We adjust the network commission to match each category’s reality and we set a uniform monthly subscription at €99 + VAT. We apply tenure and performance discounts.
The most important part, beyond the numbers: whether the commission goes up or down for a shop, the difference goes to Affiliates — 100% in Q3 2026 and 50% in Q4 2026.
The logic is simple. More motivation for Affiliates, more sales for Merchants, a more productive ecosystem for everyone.
Every shop has already received Dorin’s email and the personalized briefing for their program.
Healthy growth doesn’t come from more budget. It comes from better mechanics, partners who take real risk, and a system that pays on validated sales.
That’s the work.
We keep growing together.
Here’s to more conversions, everyone!
